Paris 2024 partners are key players in the construction and success of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. They can be World Partners (members of the IOC TOP program) or National Partners (Premium, Official or Supporter).

Partners contribute financially or technically to the success of the Paris Games. They are the ambassadors of the Paris 2024 vision to their ecosystem. They mobilize their employees, customers and partners, and get involved in the development of projects in line with the event's legacy and sustainability strategy.

David Dureisseix manages a portfolio of 24 private partners. He supports them in the "delivery and activation of their rights". A sportsman at heart, David is fulfilling a childhood dream by joining the Paris 2024 team. His recruitment is a model of tenacity: "In 2017, I followed my wife to Japan, where I did 1,000 jobs and, above all, built up a network. I took the initiative of proposing a study based on the Tokyo 2020 model to the Director of Partnerships at the time, highlighting my interpersonal skills and local presence. My idea didn't win her over, but the suggestion made enough of an impression on her to get me a meeting back in France eight months later!

His creativity and interpersonal skills came into their own. But these were obviously not David Dureisseix's only assets! "I went to BSB after a degree in sport. The business dimension of sport has always been my professional driving force". As part of the BSB program, an 18-month work-study program in banking marketing is proving to be particularly formative. Banking marketing not a sport? Talk to BPCE, Premium Partner of Paris 2024! A few years in a sports marketing consultancy and then working on events at RMC Sport revealed a solid aptitude.

So, what is David's mission within Paris 2024? "For a long time, with my team of seven people, our job was to finalize and deliver the contractual considerations, such as accreditations, accommodation or seats in the various venues. It was a matter of guaranteeing scrupulous compliance with our obligations, as set out in contracts running to a hundred pages each time". But since January 2023, the second phase of the mission has been activated: "We ensure both that the exclusive rights of the partners are protected and that the contractual perimeters are respected by each of the players. To put it plainly, we analyze between 1,000 and 1,200 marketing initiatives every month, submitted on the approval platform. Our work is all about managing limits. We talk a lot about advertising campaigns, accept a little creativity but know how to say no, even to the most influential partners. The credibility of our partnership program and the integrity of Paris 2024's vision are at stake.

In short, a hell of a daily sport! Precisely what kind of sportsman is David Dureisseix? I played soccer at a good level. In fact, my two defining moments were the 1998 World Cup, and the fever it generated. And Euro 2016, with the silence that followed the defeat. Today, I run marathons and triathlons.
