Interview of Magalie Dubois, the new head of the Bachelor in Wine Tourism specialization.
Magalie Dubois is the new head of the Wine Tourism specialization in the Bachelor in Management program.
"Students can opt for the Wine Tourism specialization in year 3e of the Bachelor's program. For my first year as head of the specialization, I wanted to put forward a new generation of professional lecturers. Familiar with today's practices, the majority of them are local players in the industry, which has helped to improve the program's carbon footprint.
To meet the needs of employers, all courses are taught in English. Our students work on business cases or research projects submitted by industry players. I'm delighted to see that our alumni are getting more and more involved in sharing their problems in areas that fall within our remit.
Twice during the semester, we accompany the 40 students in the class on study trips to Champagne and Burgundy. The aim of the course is to provide students with a solid grounding in marketing, direct sales, sensory analysis and viticulture, enabling them to become rapidly operational on the job market".
