With 35 years of dedicated expertise and strong local roots, the wine and spirits sector is intrinsically linked to BSB and its network. It couldn't be any different in a region that promotes the excellence of Burgundy's winegrowing and winemaking expertise throughout the world.
You, the graduates, play a major role in this reputation, particularly through your academic and professional experience in this sector. The proof is in the BSB Alumni wine network:
- Nearly 2,000 graduates working in the wine & spirits sector (with nearly 170 students/year in this specialization across 4 programs).
- 70% of them work for VSEs and SMEs (and 15% ETIs, 15% large groups). Half work in Business Development and 20% in Communications/Marketing.
- Among the largest employers are, of course, major groups such as Moët Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, Boisset, Grands Chais de France and ASC Fine Wines.
- Many Alumni have taken over family estates (Domaine Amiot-Servelle in Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Chapuis in Aloxe-Corton, Domaine Allemand in Théus). Others, such as Aurélie Berthod in Pernand-Vergelesses, Henri Monteux and his Domaine Monthélys, and Maxime Aerts and his Domaine Les Raisins Suspendus in the Hautes-Alpes,
- Numerous innovations: WineSPACE by Julien Laithier, an application that synthesizes aromatic expression; François Drounau, who has created L'Assemblage, in Cognac, to support wine and spirits players in their development; and VignoblExport by Marjolaine Leteurtre, a specialist in wine and spirits transport and logistics.
This issue is all about vines and wine.
In addition, we aim to continue developing synergies between graduates and students through workshops, discussion forums, themed meetings and so on. And in particular, with the organization of an exclusive event on "The wine of tomorrow", on March 1er at the Château du Clos de Vougeot.
